- The Arthur Rank Centre exists to serve the rural community and its churches. - Rural Ministries exists to facilitate the planting and development of rural churches, offering apprenticeships for those considering rural ministry, advertising opportunities to lead rural churches and providing a set of free practical resources for rural churches. - Defra is the government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Their website contains publications on a range of rural issues that can be bought or downloaded, information on grant funding and public consultations, and updates on events or incidents affecting life in the countryside. www.defra.gov.uk
- Christian Rural Concern is an organisation which has run ecumenical courses and events on rural issues since 1986, and offers a Certificate and Diploma in Christian Rural and Environmental Studies, based near Oxford at Ripon College, Cuddesdon, an Anglican centre for ministerial training. www.cruc.org.uk
